Umm, if the window regulator is repairable why did you fit a new one.?

because i dont have a welder (yet). it is apparently easy to repair, so you get a genuine MB regulator for £5 or whatever it sells for + a bit of weld and time. worth it if you have the skills and a welder.
if it doesnt sell i'll just chuck it....
one mans junk is another mans treasure and all that....
