Very low mile E55

The owner of that car came on here to ask for advice on how to price the car.

The general consensus was circa £15k...

£22k. :D

No keyless go, no ventilated seats, no panoramic sunroof, no Distronic...

You'd have to be wrong in the head to pay anywhere near £22k for that.

The guy came on here as Joe Public, saying the car was from a family member (as I recall) so, assuming that's correct, I guessing he's using the dealer as a broker.

It's costing him nothing and it's not costing the dealer anything either(other than floor space) so they're both having a punt.

He just needs a "one born every minute" punter, though I suspect the price will start to plummet soon.

Having said all that - it's quite unique at 12K.

If the car had every possible optional extra (as GreetMe touched on) it would make it more marketable.

I wouldn't want to own a modern car of that age with such a low mileage, for that sort of price.

It would also be worth getting the mileage checked out through Star...

What car Valuations price is approx £14k - thats ball park figure with no allowance for options etc.........

forget what car valuations, just look at real world prices!

its not that spec`d up, apart from the low milage nothing unique about it.

Added only to show that What Car considered it over priced too (as per every body elses comments) - unless you think its good value?

What it does have in it's favour is the ''find another'' factor! Could not buy one without ''keyless'' myself....but that's just me.

id agree keyless is my fav feature

I like it so much I'm not sure I could buy another car without it! That could prove to be a problem when picking a Ferrari!!!

I think if we're all honest, no one is the slightest bit surprised.

I would have an E63 for that money, or make my E55 look like an E63 like Alps has...

:bannana:

I would have the £16K E63 and 4k in the bank ready for the brakes and maintenance.

Not using a car can be worse than using it. The value will plumet with miles on it.

Sad really that its been probably sat in a garage waiting to be driven for 10yrs

I don't blame the seller for trying, you can always lower the price. Had it gone up for £15K which is what 'we' thought and sold straight away would they be kicking themselves?

Nice car, but E63 and £4k in the bank thanks
