Is there a DVD player that accepts DVD's or CD's and shows jpeg pictures directly onto a TV.

My 80yr old mother is on about buying a lap top solely to view pictures that my brother sends over from New Zealand and she is NOT capable of even switching on a lap top computer let alone work one.

Thanks for any advice,
John

Most recent DVD players will display JPEGs, even £50 cheapies.

From my experieince, dont expect the quality as if viewed on a PC monitor though from a regular TV.

Hi Graham,
Thanks very much indeed. I ought to get out more.

Off now to speak to my mother and chase up a DVD player.

How about this, a mate of mine has one and for £40 you cant go wrong.

It will play everything on earth:

As said above, the picture quality wont be as good through a telly, but im sure your Mother will not notice any difference.

EDIT: Its sold out now :(

Hi Killer,
Thanks very much for the link.

Unfortunately the item has sold out.

Thanks,
John
