VIN and specification from new

Hello - I've searched the forum to find the link for the website that can potentially tell you the spec of your car when new, however the Russian website, when translated into English doesn't seem to give the option to input it.

I'm happy to PM someone the VIN if anyone thinks they can help - or a better link would be just as useful.

For the record, it isn't important, it's just me being curious!

Anyway, here's another post - 1 more towards the quota...

I would have done it using my EPC parts catalogue access, link here Daimler AG - Service & Parts net

It's an annual subscription which I find very helpful as I use it all the time. You can decode the VIN too. In addition I have a full listing of option codes in case the EPC doesn't know a particular code.

Annual subscription to the EPC only is less than £20 (you pay in euros so rate dependant)

If you don't mind posting your VIN I'll decode it and post (yay 1 more) a full listing for you - don't see it would do any harm????

Nor do I but I seem to remember viewing a post during my search where someone did just that and was advised by admin that it wasnt a great idea. Ill pop it on here - if you acknowledge it, ill then edit it out, hopefully that will be fine
