VIN from Reg number needed

I have a small favour if anyone can help me, I need to know the VIN for a car I'm looking to purchase (VW Golf - Reg VA59NNF) and just want to make sure everything is okay with it.

I will be very grateful if anyone can help with this request :)

Also, just curious to anyone on this forum, what are you guys needing the VIN numbers for? I saw someone say they needed it to check part history and to value their car.. are there any other things I can check once I obtain the VIN number? thanks for any tips / help in advance!

P.S. I would love a MB and hopefully in a few years I will be back here:):):)

Thank you very much! Can't wait to get my own car again, and haha yes hopefully a benz sooner rather than later!
I realised I didnt need the vin, as I got this mixed up with the V5C haha. Not sure what do with this VIN number now that I have it.

Can anyone point me to a website or database that could show potential defects for this car I am looking to purchase?
 
Are u still able to get vin numbers from the reg?
Would u mind possibly finding this one UYG84L my landrovers been in storage and ive lost the plate and v5

Hi everybody, i just wondered if you could get me the frame number for a bike that i bought many years ago but never got around to applying for the v5. The reg is YDT424T . Its a silver honda 250 superdream. The frames rusted away from been outside, but now its 40 years old it wont need taxing an moting anymore and will save me money. Ive tried everyway i can think of but nothing seems to have it.

Unfortunately, like other vehicles of that age, the two databases the members here are familiar with don't have this information. It's just too old.
The only thing I could suggest is to contact the Honda delaership with that Reg# and hope they can help. Mercedes are happy to supply Vin#'s from the Reg# on old cars that are not on public databases.

New member here. Ive been trying for hours to get the VIN for reg: KRZ5792 for a mb data card. Can someone help? All the websites mentioned dont seem to work
