vin plate spec

Hi, I am sure there must be a thread somewhere, I can't find it though, can someone point out where the vin plate specs are to see what has been changed from the factory build.

Each vin relates to a datacard which shows what was on your car at the factory. You should have a copy in the yellow folder with your car. Modifications will only show on the datacard if the Mercedes computer has had the new codes added to it by a Star machine linked to Mercedes.

put my vin in and it told me all I wanted to know, although I was a bit disappointed to learn my car was made in sept.2000 and registered in April 2002 so it says, fabric seats as well,arista/caruso whatever that means, colour 744 silver and so on.
