I bought a used viseeo on ebay! I cannot get it to sychronise with the phonebook in my nokia 6310i. Is this phone incompatable? Or am I missing something?

Have you followed the pairing procedure in the manual that it should have come with?

Viseeo won't turn off

I bought a Viseeo MB-2 which works a treat. However when I turn off bluetooth on my phone the MB-2's lights flash and it won't turn off. Even after I turn off the engine and lock the car it continues to look for my phone. As soon as I turn back on the bluetooth it connects and works fine. Is there a manual way to turn off the unit. Currently I have to disconnect it from the connector in the armrest. Thanks in advance.

I installed one in my 56 plate E320 CDI yesterday that I bought for £160 inc VAT and Del via Command Online's ebay shop (cheaper than their actual direct site??)

It paired with my BB Pearl 8110 effortlessly but then took 20 minutes to sync the phone book (which it did automatically).

One dissappointment is that the MB command head unit (HU) will only hold a specific amount of addresses (circa 500 I believe) and I have 850 contacts in my phone which are not visible via the MB screen or dash. So after a while a message pops up on the MB HU stating 'address book full'.

I guess I will be dialling from my BB or using voice dialling as I don't think there is a fix for this???

The phone works really well, connects quickly when you get in the car and call quality is excellent :)

Like you Lethal-Dose, I just bought a Viseeo for my R320 CDI and it works a treat with my HTC Touch HD and my wife's Sony-Ericson W850. Both phone books transferred fine, though, like you the one in my Touch HD (which is synced with my Outlook contacts) took an age to sync first time.

I'm so far very impressed with it.

jcarr1, maybe try reseting it to factory settings and then follow the pairing procedure again, or install the updated firmware from visseo site.

I'm not sure if all phones have the option in the BlueTooth (BT) but within the address book sync setting I can select all, hotlist or disable, I have now selected hotlist which is the last 30 numbers used. This has stopped the address book full message popping up every time I get in the car after a few minutes.

For any thing else I just dial directly from the phone and the viseeo places it all via the car system which I don't mind.

Like alloam suggests you can do a hard reset on the MB2 by pressing two buttons, delete the viseeo in BT on your Nokia and switch it off whilst you reboot the visseo and then start the pairing process again.

jcarr1 - Ensure the BT settings on your Nokia are set to transfer address book so the Visseo can pick it up and sync properly, if the Nokia BT settings are not right the Viseeo can't see/sync the address book...

Viseeo MB2

Just bought a Viseeo MB2 for E320 (2005). Pairs up with my Blackberry 8310 but when it asks for password it won't accept 1234. I've upgraded the firmware, reset the MB2 and having contacted blackberry tried 0000 as the password but it still doesn't work.

Help!

ViseeO and contact sync

The MB-2 reliably pairs with my phone (Nokia X6), and automatically syncs the contacts every time ... which takes a minute or so (with the green light flashing). Then I get the solid green, and can press the button to transfer (which takes another 30 seconds maybe).

The issue is that the phone doesn't appear on the display until all this is complete. So you have to remember to keep an eye on the MB-2, waiting for the solid green light before you can manually press the button. This is not ideal, particularly as the whole cycle repeats when you turn the ignition on/off or open the door!

Is this normal? It's got the latest software and BT loaded, phone is latest s/w too. Just seems a bit crazy to have to tell it to transfer the contacts every time?!

From the excellent FAQ:

ViseeO Bluetooth Adapters for Mercedes

I see that I can disable automatic sync, which is probably what I will end up doing ... although this is not ideal.

Any comments / observations?

Many thanks in advance :)
