I read lots a scary things in this forum about ViseeO and am wondering if the product is as bad as it sounds. I have just purchased the MB 2for my CLK and I cannot pair a Motorola V3x to it at all. I know the V3x uses bluetooth s/w v 2.0 where most other phones still use V 1.1 AND V3i & V3 use V1.1
I cannot get an absolute answer from anyone if the MB2 supports the V3x or any phone using V2.0.
Has anyone had success with a V3x or a phone using V2.0?:dk:

I'm having the exact same problem pairing with a Viseeo... I've tried an Iphone, Blackberry and a Nokia... if I had hair i'd pull it out!!! Off to see Alfie (command guru) soon, so hopefully the wizard can fix it..

I have a ViseeO in my C55 and have paired a Blackberry, an iPhone and my wife's Nokia to it and they all work fine. The manual is not that intuitive but there aren't that many buttons to fiddle with. I just made sure that the first time I paired the devices up that I gave them plently of time to synch...

HTH

I also have 2 nokias and a sony ericson paired with mine, they all automatically sinc and upload the phonebook etc.

Problem all fixed. The Motorola V3x now pirs with the MB2 perfectly and downloads the contacts automatically. All it took was a software update to the phone.
End of the saga.

mine downloads ok with sony ericsson, works ok for me!

I've used one of the Viseeo units in my car for over a year now to get round the Nokia 6310 cradle fitted as standard. Apart from some early setup issues that required the first unit to be replaced its worked with two different Blackberry devices and an HTC phone with no problems.

It worked better with the BB as I have over 2000 contacts and you can set the BB to only sync a category as the Viseeo is limited to 300 contacts. You do sometimes get an issue where it runs the sync and you only end up with a few contacts listed. When this happens I have to force the sync again.

Found the Viseeo people more than helpful when I've had issues. They even sent me a PDF copy of the manaul when I couldn't find my oririginal. Sent the email asking for it Saturday morning and they replied within an hour.

I am considering purchasing a ViseeO MB-2 to replace my Nokia 3120 cradle in my 07 2004 CLK Avantgarde Convertible for use with a BlackBerry Bold (or newer BB device once I decide which one I will replace it with), and just looking for clarification that the MB-2 is the right bluetooth device to purchase that will show all my phone contacts on the car facia etc? :dk:
