Looking for some tips on changing a Vito 120 heater valve, anyone with wis?

It's under the black plastic electric box N/S front just above the leg.

you can Just about see it so not sure how to get this out, it must be common as the dealers have 3 in stock!

Any help please

170 looks and no one with wis can look at this for me?

I am thinking head light out and front panel.

Ok just picked up the valve, all plastic 4 port valve.
Had a look on Wis at MB, you can see when the vito was designed LHD it would be easy to get at, but RHD its under the black box, not a thing on Wis, tec says as long as it takes would be the job.
They have done one, they removed the box!, no way, I am going in through the N/S head light, slam panel.
We will see it the morning.

So frustrating, just cannot get to it.
Got the light out and can now you can see it.
No way can I get this out.

So if anyone wants to quote on fitting this I will travel

Had a good look at this on epc, this box has 5 x M6 bolts, 4 on the fire wall and one on the inner wing, not sure it would lift enough to get at it, failing that it needs to come out.

Sorry Zenman , whats ur name. I see ur posts just Jealousy i suppose retards me. I would love to be adding bits or upgrading mine . But of course yours is a model ahead and holds little interest because it's so different. I say little but of course i like to c ur pics with changes you have made. So i have to feed my dogs now so tell me what to look for and iwill try check something like WIS. Pm vin or model and eng numbers etc.

Made a start on this today, went for plan B, black equipment box out.
2 hours into it and I can say it only needs unbolting and it lifts enough to do it.
Crazy access to the bolts up under the dash, bottom 2 are ok but the top! The glove box is in the way, it can be done.
Then under bonnet, wiper panel off, wipers, motor, 18 bolts later and the scuttle is off, great acsess now, the box with all the 7 bolts removed will lift just enough to get at the valve.
I did start to take the ecu out but lost my bottle! It's mega in there so put it back.
Picture to follow

Didn't you ask for help checking up how to do it ?

I did but wis is left hand drive and nothing on there so just had to go for it.
The valve is easy, access is the problem.

Well 3 more hours job done, did it fix the problem NO, just leaves the one and only other thing, the control panel.
Strip that out now and post it to BBA Reman.

One time i mistakenly phoned MB Head office parts dept. I got a real nice fellow telling me he really liked my car , the colour etc. He had every single detail of my car in front of him. I just wonder if head offices for you might also have better info or correct info for right hand drive models. It never hurts to take a chance calling... a bit of blag etc...

There was no other way to do this regardless, it just takes time to do.
