vito Tyre help

Hi i have just bought some 18 inch benz wheels for my vito. when i get tyres do i need to go xl (extra load) or rf(reinforced) they are 8.5 inch wide so what sort of profiles would people suggest? thanks

Mine are XL Continental VanCo Contacts 102/104 but mine is a Dualiner..Mercedes-Benz UK - Model information - Tyre labelling which are available in different load ratings. I think the Sport-X runs on 245/45R18 as standard.

The Viano and the current replacement for it the V-Class both have 18 inch wheels as an option. Shouldn't be difficult to find out what tyres the factory fitted.

You need 245/45 x18" 101 load rated as were fitted to mine from new.

Can l ask what brand of tyre does 245/45/18 @ 101 load rating . lm only able to get a 255/45/18 in 101 /103 load .

l currently running 100 xl extra load ( that are not road worthy here) l have been searching for a while and cant seem to locate the size and load.

Sorry I missed the replies? been away on holiday.

I can assure any doubters , my sportx wheels have 101 continental tyres.
