Vredestein Quatrac

Well, I ordered some Quatrac3s in 205/60R15 for my Audi 100 quattro and they were shipped in from Holland.

When I went to get the fitted on my car, they found out there were three 15" tyres and one 16" tyres!!!!! Bugger, and they weren't making any more until January.......

So, with less than 2mm of tread on my Sportrac2s after 32000 miles, I bit the bullet and went for Snowtrac3s...... Had them on for 150 miles so far, very grippy in damp muddy conditions on the back lanes near me in WIltshire.

Snowtrac3 are excellent!!!

Apart from the grip in the cold and damp, they grip like poo to the proverbial blanket in snow.

I went the back roads to work instead of the main road, and went on 3" of virgin snow, down and up some steep hills. Had a Land Rover Freelander wait until I got to the bottom of a big hill before he gingerley followed me down.

Will keep them on until about April, then get some Sportrac3 for my alloys (on steels at the minute).........
