does anyone know if vw passat wheels will fit my 124 e300 diesel 1994

Dude, why would you want to put VW wheels on a Mercedes ?

because the latest passat wheels look the biz and whenever you see vw wheels etc for sale they are always half the price of mercedes wheels that is on ebay in other words people take the ....

But wheels from another manufacturer on a Mercedes look silly ....

OK from a wheel manufacturer eg BBS, etc but not another car manufacturer ...

Do you want someone to look at your car and think nice car , but its got Passat wheels on it , wonder what happened to the proper ones ?

Ever seen Porshe wheels on a VW bug? Yeah, the cool one your drooled at. You remember it.

W123 alloys wheels on a Camper van work very well.

How about a scooby on Porker wheels?

@ Mark - post the size and offset of the wheels you would like to fit and someone should be able to help tell you they will fit, posibly even Howard!

How about a link to a picture of the style you mean?

i think thave the same pcd/stud pattern so it will come down to the size of the big hole in the middle (sure there's a technical name for that ;)) and offsets

Seeing as a lot of Vag wheels are BBS thats a bit of a silly comment :D

Modern 5 stud VAG wheels are 5 * 112 so thats the same, but as far as I know the centre bore of the Merc is bigger at 66.5mm as opposed to 57.1mm.

I have actually seen after market alloys wheels advertised to fit straight on to Merc/VW/Audi/Skoda as they do all share the same PCD/stud pattern as others have already said...

Personally, I would stick to MB design alloys OEM or Replicas...

Not really, and BBS was meant as an example (hence eg.) not as the definative ......

BBS manufacture for car marques, rarely do they sell the same style to the general public ...

Oh and by the way welcome to the forum ..... ;)

Cheers, and point taken.

Merc wheels on a VAG look better than most VAG wheels would on a Merc to be honest.
