Hi guys,
Im currently in the process of finding a nice 280ce. Been looking for a good month or so I have found one in my favourite colour with a good spec (not leather unfortunately). Emailed the guy and it seems to have been looked after. I know the places to look for rust and problems and no doubt i will be getting it inspected before if i was to buy but does this seem outrageously expensive? I think it is a little myself, what does everybody think? Im basing this price on another one i have seen in diamond blue which i believe you could pry from the dealer for £4.5 (you might have seen it, its been advertised for atleast 6 months)

many thanks

Price seems a tad high to me, but then again, you could end up spending more to bring a cheaper CE up to the condition of this one

Martin Marroco the seller is also a well known Mercedes Specialist and people seem to talk highly of him.

The price is not that bad. There are some out there for a lot more. Have a look at Charles Ironsides website or ccbenz. Really top grade 123s now fetch strong money mainly because there are so few of them left. A mediocre one will cost much more to put right than spending money on a good one.

I've never seen those type of seats in such stunning un-crushed order and I can't remember if I've ever seen an air-filter housing so originally pristine.
What a belter, if I'd not just bought a something I'd be making him an offer of 5250. That can't devalue if it's treated correctly.
You can probably trace the first owner if you enlarge the invoice image.
Let us know, please.
Cheers,
Paul

Looks almost as clean as my recently sold 280CE.

Its done too high miles to be worth the really big money but it is worth 5K i would think.

Martyn is a good guy, he converts W123's to V8's and knows these cars very well.

I'm looking to buy an m110, is that high miles with history?
Any thoughts much appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

Thats not high miles, these can do 400K easily with good maintenance... however this car is priced a little high for the miles IMO.
