I am looking for some bodywork advice please. My newly acquired W123 Estate has a long MOT but is very rough overall. Most panels need work, plus there is a little roof and screen pillar corrosion. I can handle basic bodywork repairs, but fabrication and tidy welding is beyond me.
Before I get stuck in, are there any rust areas to look for that would prove extremely expensive or impractical to fix? I need to decide if I can bring the car up to scratch over the long term, or just enjoy what is left of it for a year.
Also would welcome advice on suppliers of replacement panels, new and used
