Wanted: Clocks/instrument panel from a W123. The mileage is not important, but the lower the better (my car is on 81000 miles). I have a poverty spec, non rev counter instrument panel, but wouldn't mind a set with a rev counter.
If you have one of these spare I would like to hear from you either in PM form or by phone on 07858 066 934
Many thanks

Dan

Whats up with yours?

i have one but really i dont want to sell it as i may need it in the future!

call me selfish...

but there is a guy who repairs them: www.jdo1.com

He charged me £20 to refurbish my clock..

Wow, thank you for the link mate, much apprciated! The mileometer has been stuck at 80,900 sometime between the MOT in 2005 and the one in 2006. I want to get this rectified as I cannot work out how many miles ot the gallon I'm getting, or whether I'm staying within the allotted mileage on the classic policy (Obviously, I haven't clocked up enough just yet, but I'm sure I will....!!!).

Are you sure its not the cable....

It will be the little plastic drive gear inside the unit is split.

A repair can be effected by making small holes either side of the split then threading the wire through and twising it tight, then gluing with epoxy glue.

The end digit of the mileometer (the units one) has come adift and it looks like its been pushed in! I should dismantle theses ones and have a little repair, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing and worried that I may be left with an entirely broken set of clocks!!

mate, just send it to that bloke, he is fantastic, cheap and it will be like new!
