Hi i have a black plastic pipe adrift in my engine bay it is about 4mm OD one end goes to a one inch block on the drivers side inner wing ,does anyone have a diagram of the pipe work to help me out,the car appears to start and run as normal,if i suck on the pipe the throttle linkage across the top of the engine moves?

what pipe in the pics is loose? i cant see any loose ends

pipe

it is the pipe in the last picture, it is just layed across the air box at present,it originates from a square block and is long enough to reach the drivers side of the engine bay and almost up to the brake servo on the bulkhead depending on which way it is routed. it is probably better if i remove the airbox for a better picture but dont want to as i am degreasing the car at present so it can go into the paint shop for a self prep spray.

i'll take a look tonight when i get home at mine

Take a coat hanger, make a hook at one end, and poke away.......or take another vaccume and suck from the end that connected to the vac head.

that large pipe goes to the brake servo and down around where the fuel filter is.

it has a small brown pipe coming off it that goes around by the inner wing, so i assume this is the pipe you mention. i cant see where it goes from there. check its connected to that large pipe from the brake.

you can just about see it in the photo below.
