W124 300TE 3.0 diesel non turbo

I need to change o rings on my fuel pump on my w124 diesel, and I've found some good instructions and orders the 33 tooth spline tool etc.

I need to remove the intake manifold to do this, any tips and advice on how I should do this, it looks a bit complicated, I'm not a mechanic, but going to give it a go.
