w124 500e

Nice car but overpriced, together with no service history its not worth the asking price. Apart from that, looking at the pics looks like a nice example.

I saw 500E silver the other day...number plate L** ACE - Very nice, I think a member here used to own it. I prefer the 500E in black though, 040 flat black would be perfect!

The cra has had paintwork and the leather has been re-trimmed, so it would be very had to tell if the mileage was genuine without a service history.

Green?

I didnt know you got them in metalic green? Not my favorite colour for a sports model I,m afraid. A nice big estate or a ML yes but a 500e?

I seriously considered it, i know green's not the best colour for it but it is a nice looking car.

The prob is there is no history. I'm one of the very people that will retrim a car's interior for no reason and repaint it! Now the car has no history, none in the UK, or form the previous owner, or from wherever it was imported. No previous MOTs either. I reckon the car's done double the miles, maybe more!

When i asked the seller a question he said come down and look at it and judge the mileage for myself. Bearing in mind its been painted/and retrimmed the only real way to judge is the oil pressure and thats really not all to accurate!

And the bonnet bagde has been removed! Looks nice on the SEC but i like the W124 3 pointed star.

If the seller has gone to the trouble/expense of re-trimming the interior and the paint job then he could at least have got matching beige/cream interior matts...

Nice car if it was genuine but the colour is awful...

Looks like it sold for £7k. Defiantly a premium, they can be picked up for much less.
