Hmm, they will extend out by 3.2cm compared to standard, will need to be careful with tyre selection unless you roll the arches!

Sorry yes, my post was unclear if you put 245/45s on they won't fit standard wings.

Jay, as I understand it....wheels from W126's and SL's will compliment each other, however, wheels from W124, W202, W201 and W210's will compliment one another, but will not fit W126's and SL's....well thats what I've always gone on and I've never come unstuck.

I think you're right. If nothing else the bolt seats are different.

Only with 15mm spacers and longer bolts.

ok im keeping an eye on them, i see the hubcentric spacers tend to come in only 12 and 16mm..so i assume 16 would be best?

Thats a very good way to put them they really do look like mexican hats

Yes, usually due to being over tightened. IMO they are the best set of wheels for any mercedes of that era!

Caused by over torquing the wheel bolts with the use of impact guns.

I hand tighten all my wheels and use a torque wrench. I take the wheels off the car myself and put them back on myself to prevent any damage.
