W124 Bodywork Options

Esteemed MB Club members,

I have an itch and I need to scratch it! I am seriously considering selling one of my wonderful 124's (pure lack of use - one has been sitting under covers for a good few months now). But before I do I want to give the Blue/Black 300 a spruce up, which I hope will help me decide which one to sell! I know the E36 is a better machine, but deep down the 300 has won me over inside. Anyway there are a few small things I'd like to do first, namely:

1. Lower the stance - I am usually a purist at heart and like to maintain things as original but I really want to lower the springs to bring the height down (like the E36). Any ideas appreciated on how best to achieve this.

2. Change the alloys with low profile tyres. I'm starting to like to look of Mono's but ultimately would prefer Aero I's. Please point me in the right direction to find a set!

3. Black grille - how would you say is the best way to achieve this?

4. Get some spots of surface rust sorted on front wings and get front AMG bumper plate under the car lifted! Again and pointers for good bodywork shops in London SE or E appreciated. CLKClive any way you can fit me in before March?!?
