I have a facelift 94 E280 that seems to have an issue with the bonnet adjustment.
When the bonnet is closed, there doesnt seem to be any unusual movement in the lock/catch, even when attempting to lift the edges of the bonnet. It also appears to be properly aligned to the edges of the wings, so I am assuming that the rubber bumper stops are adjusted correctly.
However, when driving over about 40mph, I can see that the bonnet is moving up and down and can see that it has raised slightly above the wing edge. When at a standstill everything looks normal again.
What can I adjust to prevent it from moving around when driving at speed?
Thanks
