W124 Cat retrofit

Hi folks- great forum with lots of good answers- now it's my turn with a question. I have a 1990 300TE 4Matic I bought new, non-cat version. I want to ship the car out to New Zealand, where the emissions requirements have just been cranked up meaning this car would need to at least meet Euro 2 standards. How practical would it be to fit this car with cats etc so it would pass emissions testing?
If i can't ship it I'll just have to get rid of it, and though a fantastic, competent vehicle, fully optioned and only 127000 miles, it has miserable resale value in the UK.

The figure will be given on your last MOT and I am not sure if the CAT will alter the figure
