Hello forum
As much as I love my W124, the speakers in it are gash, with a capital G.
What off the shelf speaker can I buy that will fit? There is a thread on here from '08 that recommends a speaker that is no longer available.
So, what do you recommend? I don't mind having to make the MDF steps etc but ideally I just want a plug and play solution to make the stereo a bit more palatable on my way work, in true W124 fashion the wiring looks like it will outlive me (and I'm 25) so i'm guessing the lack of audio fidelity is the Blue Spot (Blaupunkt) items.
