Hi all.!:)
This is the second time im posting this topic as nobody replied to the first one??

Anyway here i go:)

I have a W124 Pre facelift 230E 1990 auto.
It has no cruise control, and what i want to ask is:

Can cruise control be fitted to my car if i find the right parts and what parts will i need ?
Can it be done?

Thanks all:))

Yes

From memory: actuator, loom, switch, amplifier & cowling

Nick Froome

Will look into both options:)
Thanks guys!

I installed the Audiovox CC100 unit and I'm very pleased with it.

Very simple install and it can be fitted to work with the stock lever/stalk!

my coupe has cruise but the chances of using it for any length of time on the uk's crowded roads are few and far between. :(
is it worth the effort to retro-fit, personally i don't think so but good luck if you do. let us know how it goes :thumb:

thanks to everyone here! lots of help given...
im looking into the audiovox but cant find any uk dealers selling...
any ideas?? and prices???

??

I used to fit VDO kits years ago. Theywere a bit dearer but they where the original factory suppliers. The breakers yard is also an option. There must be loads in there now.

anyone know any breakers???

Google 'mercman'.....

I know there are some others too - Google is very useful!
