Hi,
My first posting, so be gentle!
I have a 1992 300TE 24V with Diavia air conditioning system fitted through Mercedes some time after the car was new (not sure when).
I would like to get the system regassed, but after an engine steam clean about 4 years ago the green Diavia label in the engine bay (on the front panel in front off the washer bottle) no longer tells me the weight in kg's of R134a gas required (the steam clean removed the black ink from the white box on the label!).
I seem to remember 1.2kg on the label, but if anyone has a Diavia air conditioning systems fitted to their W124's please can you tell me what the weight should be.

Thanks

Peter

If it was ever converted from R12 to R134 then you should out 70-80% of the original R12 amount im told.

I always put 1KG in all my cars..

Thanks jaymanek,
According to the label the car was originally gassed with R134a by Diavia, so I would like to regas with the correct amount if possible, as well as write the correct weight back on the label. If anyone has a similar green Diavia label then it would be great to know what weight is on your label. All information welcomed (R12 or R134 weight).

Thanks

Peter
