I would like to turn to you out there for some opinions please, its doing my head in at the moment...The aircon wasnt working in my car due to the heater tap, the motor wasnt working, so i got hold of a good second hand unit, and as soon as i put it in my A/C compressor pulled in and the pipe going in the cabin from the compressor is ice cold BUT i have no cold air in the cabin!,..i tried the following, i had a look if the pipe in the temp sender is on, its on, i changed the A/C Control unit on the dash to the one which was in the car that had the heater tap, and its the same part number as was mine, and still nothing changed. I roll both the switches to cold and put the fan on and then the compressor strait away engages, but inside its damn hot...when i press the EC button a little electric flap goes up and i get air from outside, my circulation button works too and the top one also works which is the demister. By the way, when the EC button is on, i get the air from outside, but there is hot air going on the windscreen ??
I got so happy, because i put the other heater tap in, and away the A/C compressor went but let me down as inside it wasnt what i expected ?
