been looking at these for ages now, no money to buy one myself but think this is a belter

i thought this was good value (well have seen them for a lot more), fsh, elec heated front seats (not mentioned but switches there), 112k miles, 3 owners, air con

what more do you want for under 9k, i guess interior would put some off but i like it alot!!!!!! :thumb: i should be on a bloody commission

Looks very nice. I like the blue. Apart from a slightly dodgy headlamp wiper it looks good value.

Well, in answer to the original question, you could ask for sportline. 'Looks nice though.

112,000 miles and no rust? I am sure that I could find some.

The interior of the boot shows that the car was supplied with a wind deflector but I can't see any mention of it in the advert.

I think the blue interior is preferable to beige or black, and the car looks to be in great condition. While I don't think it's over priced especially, for that money I'd prefer to get a r129 sl and put up with having no (useable) back seats.

was this car not in the recent MB Brooklands auction?

Nope, that was a 93 (still L plate) with 132k miles. Exactly the same otherwise though (slightly different spec - no heated seats on the Brooklands one, but did have Climate control - this one has just AC) - it was the colour combimation Merc used in advertsing so sold quite a few!

The one in the Brooklands auction went for £5280 plus commision which will give a fair idea that the dealer will have a good £2k+ margin on this car.
