Hi Everyone I am newbie here and was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what the knocking could be on my rear suspension driver’s side, could be.

It only happens under hard braking or acceleration it has developed after three days and started with a dry rubber squeak sound, which now seems to have disappeared.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Saloon, coupe, estate or cabrio?

There are five suspension links per side plus an antiroll bar and a pair of shockers/legs. And four subframe bushes. They all wear over time

You'll need to get the car in the air and check everything over with a big pry bar. It may be as simple as worn arb drop links or bushes, or it may be the exhaust system hitting something

As Nick says something involving rubber between metal surfaces has gone AWOL or exhaust rubber mountings failed. Should be fairly obvious on close inspection. check the roll bar mountings and links which are prone to failure.
