Hello all
A few weeks ago I got a W124 E500. I have been looking since while and this one was just the 'one' it is in outstanding condition. Pic of it beside my W215 CL65 AMG. When I get a chance I will upload some more photos. Cheers
I have to say I think the Carcoon is great. I have that one about 3 years and it definitely does the job. If you are getting one I would get the framed one that I have as it is the only way to go if you want easy access for getting use of the car. I will be getting another one shortly for the E500!whirsk said:Great choice of cars, just wondering if you find the "carcoon" benefital I am considering in one. That's what I thought- started to doubt myself when 'ambers' was mentioned. As someone else said it really all personal choice - either with or without I am chuffed with this car dde00There are a few other changes to the car which would not be period to the car e.g steering wheel, Porsche front brake callipers, wheels, brabus exhaust etc but I think they suit it nicely. All this had been done before I bought it but I think I will just be leaving it as it isroadhog said:Pre-facelift (large grille) = Amber Facelift (small grille) = Clear Thems is the rules.Nice car all the same.
