W124 engine swap

Hi, I am new on here, and would like to ask a question - I have a w124 300td estate 1992, and I am thinking about swopping the engine and running gear into a 1991 230te estate.

Apart from swapping the engine, running gear and front springs ect, what other problems am I likely to encounter? both cars are autos.

If you have both cars next to each other, you shouldnt have a problem.
You will need to swap the engine looms over, and I would want to swap the fuel tank and lines too.

Why do you want to swap it anyway?

Thanks for that, I suspected as much but I just wanted to check.
Reason for swap is I have been offered a 230 with a knackered engine and good body, and the body on my 300 leaves a lot to be desired.
