Inside one, has the drivers or passengers belt coming through it. what holds it to the bodywork? i cant see any clips and mines loose, ie the door seals dont meet up to it. Has anyone had the same problem? most of our techs havent worked on one so...:wallbash: any help appreciated:D

clips are behind which snap into place when pushed on. they slide into plastic mounts on the top of the b pillar trim that often break off leaving it loose.

to remove you unscrew the 2 screws at the hard plastic trim at the bottom of the pillar, remove the door seals out the way and then pull away from the body carefully. if you want to remove completely you'll have to undo the seatbelt mount on the pillar itself aswell.

the clip mount can break on them - maybe thats the problem - getting to the underside of it to take a look will reveal all.

hope this helps

At the bottom of it you`ll see another plastic trim, remove the two screws on it and th pillar should clip out.Check if the clip is broken

yes looks like the clip is either broke or just not clipped in.

Thanks for all the replies, both clips were in place until i removed the drivers side and broke the top one:doh: Ive tried glue and magic plastic but it just pulled out again. will try again at the weekend when i have more time. The passenger trim is better after a little bit of tweeking, but it still doesnt sit tight, like i think it should. Anyway i might just order a new drivers one, cant believe only 1 clip and 2 screws on another panel hold it in!
