W124 front seat headrest removal

I want to remove the headrest from the drivers seat of my 95 w124; I have tried pulling it up but it stops - what's the trick please?

I think there's a hidden release button under a dimple type mark on the back of the seat. Hard to describe but easier to notice in real life.

At least that's how I understand it - please check carefully if you're not confident when you look

Yes feel down the back of the seat and you will find an indentation, press in and then pull up the head rest.

Easier said than done - but it's the only way
It may be adviseable to get someone else to push in the release button so you have both hands free to rock it back and forth as you pull upwards.
