W124 fuse box wires....

Hi All

Does anyone know what these 2 wires are for ?

They are coming out of the w124 fuse box.

Look as if they might be for something "aftermarket" which has been removed. One connection from the front that used to enter the base of the fuse box was the front bumper mounted sensor for the exterior temperature gauge. Might be worth checking with a voltmeter if that red wire is live permanent or with ignition on ?

Yes something thats been fitted by the owner before you .
