W124 Heater Blower

Hi All,

The heater blower in my 1992 W124 300TD has developed an intermittent noise which of late seems to be becoming more persistent - sounds like a metal-to-metal scraping noise if that makes any sense!

Is it possible to repair/replace this component and if so how?

I haven't had a chance to examine it yet - however of you have a blower lying around I will purchase it from you as a backup just in case. I can't pm you as my post count isn't high enough yet.
