Aug 9, 2012 #2 coupe deville Active Member Joined Aug 21, 2008 Messages 784 Car 93 E320 coupe sportline facelift I cut the rust out and welded a patch in, then a good dollop of paint applied with a brush so its nice and thick. I ommitted the drain hole as I reckon it will outlast the rest of the car,I also put new seals on the washer bottle

Check the other side under the ABS thingy. Often find the same issue. Its not structural so a patch repair will be fine.

Likewise, under the ABS unit. My remedy was the aforementioned cut, weld and paint as completed by my Indy. I started a thread on it HERE.
