ok ive done a shedload of work to this 200 i have, and am about to get it tested for put up for sale.

im just looking for a reaosnable price to start the car at. the bodywork it by no way perfect, with some small rust bubbles here and there but nothing serious. underside is very solid.

its got part service history, all documents and receipts from all work ive carried out. mileage is 116000. its a 1986 200 carb fed 2.0.

i have replaced (or am about to today)

front disks and pads
back disks and pads
back shocks
thermostat
rocker gasket
brake fluid
coolant
oil and filter
rotor arm, leads and dizzy cap
four tyres
full lockset
rear chrome badge
front grille and badge
washer bottle and pump
wiper
plugs
fuel filter
new wheel trims
greased checkstraps, hinges etc
cleaned, paint restored, claybarred, waxed and polished.
interior shampooed and cleaned

black/grey interior in good condition
original radio/casette but will supply cd player in case owner wants originality
removed aftermarket alarm system that was causing battery drain
no leaks, all electrics work fine

im looking to list the car with a full MOT (however, untaxed but may be negotiable) towards the end of the week. what shoud i list at or what should i put it on ebay at?

thanks for any advice.

start it at 99p for 10 days and let it find its correct value. starting low will get lots of interest and bids, which help. starting at the price you want for the car will only attract one person (possibly) and therefore wont get lots of people that is needed to push the price up.

i started my 4 year old 7 series at 99p on ebay :D its the best way to do it.

Thats good advice, never tried that. Id love to run it but with the currect economic climate and a predicted mpg of about 30? Its not on the cards. I already have a diesel runabout and would rather let it go with the satisfaction of fixing it up and making someone happy to be driving it about.
