w124 rattling and clunking noises

When going over a pothole/speedhump etc I can hear a light metallic rattling sound from the rear, as though the exhaust is loose, which it is`nt as I had a look yesterday.

When I apply the brakes, sometimes I can hear a clunking noise.

Just wondering if the two are associated or seperate problems, and what they could be, any thoughts or ideas appreciated.

Check the rear wheels, brakes and suspension bushes.
It sounds like a worn bush.

Thanks, wheels are on nice and tight all round, just put new discs on the front because one was warped, I will check the bushes, how difficult are they to change ?
