W124 SRS light.

Hi all, im having a puzzling problem with my 1995 E280. The SRS light no longer comes on with the ignition. I thought, no problem a blown bulb!! So i unplugged the seat wiring and the light came on. However if the car sits for a couple of weeks and the battery runs down the light then comes on and goes off as it should. As soon as the battery is fully charged then the problem returns. Thank in advance if anyone can help!!!

someone has probably switched the bulbs around, pull the cluster out, the bulbs are numbered, id bet someone has removed the bulb for the SRS one and mixed the others up.

Hi, thanks for your response. The bulbs have not been changed, the SRS light was working fine previously. This only happened after a flat battery problem then a new battery being fitted! All of the other warning lights are working fine.
