it was a good idea to remove that oil pan on the side of the oil sump, because it allows me to catch the broken parts, that could'nt be catched with the magnetic tool, as they are plastic made...
2 pieces are missing, but i didn't removed the oil filter yet
don't know where they can have been kept, but as the are plastic made, it's less important i think, and they could have been eliminated with the used oil, i'll check it after

i made other pics, on the album here :

i'm waiting for the pump now, and i'll let you know the issue when all will be mounted.

Thanks.

I can't see anything making it to the oil filter as the strainer on the end of the pickup would stop them first.

Yes that's what i was thinking too, but i don't know what is the minimal size of the pieces that can pass through the strainer ?

You had the Newer Type Vacuum Pump, with the Plastic Bearing Retaining Cage.
And ,even with the Cage, the Ball bearings broke free during the failure.

Some of us in the United States believed that the newer style Pump with
the Plastic Bearing Cage would prevent the very type of failure you've
experienced.

How many miles/kilometers on your engine at the time of VP failure?

Hello,
that's what i said in my post (first message) : 527,000kms :)
all that i can say it's that the VP had at least 427,000kms...pretty good mileage
before the failure, i didn't ear anything bad or strange
bye
