W126 1990 Key Number

Hi there,

I'd like to order a spare main key for our sedan, could someone let me know where I can find the key number. I have the customer data card, is it the Türschloss entry?

Welcome aboard,you have a working key,many owners would use one of the companies that make spare keys for mercedes they are a lot cheaper than MB,there are even mobile guys,having said that I have never bought a key for a 1990 car.

I'd like to have the key cut to number than from our well worn example. Saying that we do have both unused service and wallet keys, but I don't really want to risk these in the post.

If there is no transponder or remote involved just take the spare key to a local high street key cutters. I've had a couple of spares done locally for about £8 each for the 94 W124.
