w129 lights not working

hi every one!

got a SL 500(W129)
The lights arent working on low beam,, ive checked the fuses and there ok, but there is no power getting to them, i ran a test wire to the fuses and the lights work.

i dont have a wiring diagram or know the componet locations for the reallys.

all in all im stuck.. before i take the car to an auto sparky, any one got any tips or know of any common faults

I'd start by looking at the light switch itself.

Oh and its an R129 BTW.
