w140 radio amp

hi can any one tel me where the stero amp is fitted in my 1995 s280 w140 i can only get sound from the rear speakers have tried different radios and even joining the front speaker wires at the rear of the radio to the rear ones that are working but still nothing from front have been told they go through an amp but i cannot find it any help please

Hello , and welcome to the forum .

Is this car new to you ? Are you sure there actually are speakers in the front positions ? A previous owner may have removed them or disconnected them .
