W140s - much of a market?

Hi all. There is a W140 600SEL close to me on ebay, which is going cheap. Has an ASR fault (ironic given my R129 with the same thing). Is it worth getting it for anyone who wants spares - is there much demand for these things???

I wouldn't say they're in demand (W140's in general, not specific models)

You can pick them up for cheap nowadays, and since they are old, not economical, expensive to insure, no one really buys them.

If someone wants an S-Class, then they usually go for a W220.
