Hi all
Only working Fob stopped working out of the blue. Replaced batteries but nothing. Tried to resynch and it once in a while it will lock, but only once ...(?)
Anyone knows where the remote entry antenna is on the car?
Any diagram or photo?

thanks

Has the fob been dropped? Not unknown for the little transmitter coil to become detached due to shock and vibration.
Without a second fob the best course of action would be to get the car on STAR and get the codes read.#
Guessing gets expensive!

Hi
I unlocked the car (with the remote) drove around some for some chores. Got out of car, locked it with the fob. Got into a super market, shopped, got out and the fob wouldn't work anymore.
Tried new batteries but nothing. In the last diagnostic, the AAM (which may have the fob functions (?)) did not communicate with the diagnostic, but the fob worked perfectly.
I have heard the aerial/antenna for the fob can become detached or loosely attached. The problem is I don't know where it is and I don't know how it looks like.

I am updating so perhaps others with similar problems in the future can find something relevant.

I tried to resynch the -previously working- fob this morning. Position 2, take key out, hold lock and press unlock 5 times. press lock again.
The car locked which means something happened, BUT, after that initial locking, none of the buttons worked again (lock, unlock, boot) and any subsequent efforts to resynch didn't even get that first lock response.
