w168 Start error, please help..

Full story:

Owned the car 2001 a190 for just over 2 weeks.
Cant drive yet so its on my lawn.

Turned it over every 2 to 3 days just to keep things running
Playing with a radio a week ago and I think the battery started to go a bit flat (no charger/tester) and it would start but was trying to.
Next day it started no problems so again every other day I have turned it over.

Turned it over yesterday in the cold no problem.

This afternoon put a new radio in, when sticking it in the dash I accidently cut the usb lead clean in half, not sure if that has had any impact, stereo works fine ect.

Had the car on 1st maybe 2nd turn in the ignition, stereo working fine. went to turn the car over and nowt just a clicking noise, doesnt 'sound' like its the battery, then start error on dash coming up, wont start at all only 1 key, central/remote locking all works fine but no start

Temp outsdie car is 1.5 degrees if that is helpful?

I know absolutely nothing about cars, so please be gentle and talk basic to me !

Sounds like you have a flat battery if the starter was just clicking.
Check battery
Check fuses
Failing that need to get it on star to check key is being recognised

Battery flat ot faulty.
Charge it up and see how you get on.

Thanks guys, show's I really dont know much! Was panicking, suppose I was thinking I have screwed the ecu by cutting the wire on the stereo and shorting everything out, will but a trickle charger today and have a look !
