Will a new Audio 20 from a recent A class go into a 2007 model. The car already has the old style audio 20.

The new unit has built in Bluetooth so I guess I'll need an aerial for that and microphone. Also I already have the iPod interface for the existing head unit, will this work with the new one?

Any help would be great

Just seen some earlier threads. Am I right in assuming I just need the Bluetooth antenna and microphone

No you need more than that.

You need one of the NTG2.5 conversion kits below. There are two kits get the correct one for your car depending on if you have phone pre-wire or not.

With phone pre-wire: Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes SatNav/COMAND :: COMAND Retrofit parts :: A/B/CLC/ML/GL/R COMAND NTG2.5 (Hard Disk) retrofit kit - cars with phone.

Without: Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes SatNav/COMAND :: COMAND Retrofit parts :: A/B/CLC/ML/GL/R COMAND NTG2.5 (Hard Disk) retrofit kit - cars without phone.

Yes your ipod kit can be converted to work and the above kits include what you need to do this.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the ipod can be controlled from the new headunit, showing track names etc on the display?

At the moment it is shown on the MFD behind the steering wheel, and is accessed using the aux input, is this the same or is there better integration?

Will work same as it currently does.

If you fit the NTG2.5 based Audio 20 with the built in 6 disc changer you could fit the media interface (UCI), this displays the info on both the headunit and cluster. Wont work with the single cd Audio 20 though.

Comand Online can supply the media interface too.
