W202 2000 Instrument Cluster Issue

My Current Cluster has issue with the Digital clock and the Gear selector display. I bought a replacement months ago which has done 148k but mine is 108K on the clock, if i replace it will it reset itself from 148K to 108K
please help

Hi,
No the mileage won,t reset itself, you will need to get the mileage adjusted by STAR I believe, and from what I have read this has to be done within 200 miles of fitting the cluster.
