I have the engine out already, no damage to it apart from plastic bits. The engine still ran before taking out too.

Only just by true Mercedes standards . Trust me when I say that the engine before the prang was unbelievable. I have no reason to doubt that it is still the same.

Have you heard from Shude recently. I did pm him about the engine but have heard nothing.
