Hi all
After 15 years my 1998 C250 TD estate is off to Mercedes heaven and is up for sale as spares or repair to anyone interested.
The car was running unto Saturday when the front coil spring perch failed. I believe this can be repaired but unfortunately i've not got the time or space to do it. So the car isn't really drivable and would need collecting on a trailer etc
Upto Saturday it was running fine so heres a few details for anyone interested in making me an offer.
The car is located in Warrington, Cheshire. C250 TD estate sport model in silver. Body work has some rusty bits on as you would expect but is certainly not as bad as i've seen on slightly younger cars. The engine has 195k on it and has been regularly serviced by myself. I replaced the fuel delivery valve o-rings about 5 months back along with all the clear plastic pipework, so there are no leaks. A recon turbo was fitted about 50k ago, and one of those kits to stop fuel back siphoning, starts first time every time. The auto Gearbox was last serviced at 130k, so probably due another oil change shortly. Interior is all fine, no tear's in the upholstery. New windscreen last year
So far been offer £150 for scrap and will probably sort this out in the few days, so if anyone is interested drop me a reply and I'll get in touch
