W202 Gear knob

Hi im selling my c230k sport, But one of the most annoying things about anyone test driving the car is the gear knob, its an all in one leather knob and gaitor. But where the leather is worn it seems to be full on gooey white sticky stuff(no dirty minds please, i know it sounds rude but how else can i put it) which makes your hands sticky, But struggling to find an exact replacement.

most seem to be two piece kits seperate knob and gaitor.

any leads to finding a new one would be great

I know exactly what you mean, on my old one it was similar although not to the extent yours sounds! Unsure what is inside them, maybe it is the glue?!

I have no idea what it is but its not nice. Esp when its warm almost like a foam type gel. thats extremely sticky.

I also have taken some better pics of it, not as good the slr camera but better than before, gave it a good polish then toke some more.

Thats a really good site for bit n pieces. going in favs for the next one. Cant believe the prices of some of them gearknobs though
